3 Seconds Later

1 mississippi, you hear brakes and cant wrap your mind around what is going on.

2 mississippi, you feel the car crash into yours and you can hear the car slowly crumple and glass shatter all around you..

3 mississippi, you're thrown back into your seat, air bags deploy and all you can think is "what just happened"....

For some, it's these 3 seconds that change their normal, everyday lives forever. But for others it was a mere accident and just by the grace of God, nothing happened and no one was harmed. On some occasions, these are the last seconds of their life on this earth, but luckily it happens so fast that you wont remember the hit or accident...

For others, It's an inside scoop of how alarming a vehicle can actually be. It weighs in at a ton or more, and this object is not to be taken as a joke. Too many accidents occur due to reckless driving when that can all be prevented if you only waited those extra 3 seconds to let that car pass.

It's those 3 seconds that could change your life forever, drive safe...

Saying Goodbye..

Just two days ago, God sent a beautiful baby girl to heaven. After just 6 short months on this Earth and after 6 precious months of bringing doctors, nurses, and friends to Christ, Ryan Lynn Clifford passed away. She's a family friends baby, my parents have a bond with this couple and have mentored them through the birth of their first born. At times, I question God, I wonder how on Earth he can send a baby to this Earth, specifically knit her inside her mothers womb and give only a few months for the child to live. As heartbreaking as it was and is, this baby impacted this world in a way that most people won't do in their whole 70+ years of living. God sent Ry Ry to change the world. God sent her to show people that you can fight, you can survive and your testimony can be created in a matter of months. This masterpiece was a perfect example of God sending someone to this Earth for a short while to change peoples lives forever. Ry Ry succeeded, although she isn't here anymore, her testimony will never die, better yet, it will live on for all of eternity....
Even the Littlest Hearts can stop beating but the soul will live on forever..

"Beautiful Things"

God overwhelms me with the beautiful creations he knitted by his own hands! This song deeply explains how incredible our God  really is!

He makes beautiful things....out of dust! That's an amazing GOD!

Why Not Start Today?

New Years Eve....People across the world celebrate it. We stare at a TV and watch the countdown in the center of New York city, we anxiously wait for the ball to drop when the clock reads 0. New years resolutions are made, kisses are given, and endless nights are created. When in all actuality, there is only one thing that changes, and that simply is the change from one year to the next..

What amazes me as I look around this room where people are gathered, there are loads of food and drinks, party hats and fireworks. The big question is......how come every day we don't celebrate as if we are madly in love with the life we are given? We are given another day on Earth and yet no one gets thanks for that. No one excites and celebrates for every blessed day they are given ...no, we expect to wake up, feet hit the floor, coffee in the pot...we assume we will awake from each sleep. It's as if our society has been warped to believe that we can celebrate for the New Year and create these resolutions but....absolutely nothing changes about your daily activities, no new lovers cross your path, nothing changes, unless...you make a change.

Every year, every year people create a New years resolution. My only question is how come you have to wait a whole year to begin. God gave you 365 days to choose from and you wait for that 1. Why? I like to think that motivates people to do something and make that change. But really, on January 15th, when you're back at school/work, all your daily activities have piled up yet again, are you still able to achieve those resolutions you've been waiting and longing to do??? In my opinion, start today. Start any day! The choice is yours and you can do anything you want if you simply set your mind to it. GO and do it today! There is no reason to wait for tomorrow, for you never know what is yet to come...

Praying for tomorrow...

Who will it be?

I've always drempt about the perfect wedding. I've drempt about my wedding ring, the dress, my hair, all of the usual wedding necessities. There is one thing that I have yet to find...a groom.

As I lay in bed, I think about my life, I think about my future and I realize that someday, I'm going to be a bride. The one thing that I looooong to know is this...Have I met my price charming? Do I already know the man of my dreams? Is it someone from high school? Or will I meet him in college? At what point will I know that he is the one?

Statistics show that the majority of married couples were best friends through out high school and college..If that's the case, I can tell you off of the top of my head who I'm going to marry. He knows me better then all of my friends, knows when I'm mad, sad, excited... But is it him?

Statistics also show that 24% of married couples meet outside of high school...........

I do know this. I am who I am, no one will change me or make me different.  We will have the time of our life through the good and bad. I also know that who ever this man is, he's who I've been looking for, as long as I can remember.

I do

Best Things

The best things in life are hard to find. A thing is defined as a material object without life and consciousness. Is it true that the best things in life aren't things? That would mean that sports, computers, beds, tvs, all of these objects aren't what make life so amazing. I agree, life is simply a "thing" to enjoy. I cheerish every moment of life that I have. Anyday could be my last, and the best things in life are far from things. In Fact, I personally would consider them humans. I believe the human race is one of the best things about life. We rely on each other, we bond, we eat, we laugh together, we cry together...some of the BEST moments in life are spent with the people that you love most.

What If

What if........

What if is my biggest fear.
What if that car swerves into my lane? What if I'm alone at 80 years of age? What if I'm kidnapped? What if my dog dies? What if I don't quit taking these drugs?  What if I continue drinking? What if...I die?

BUT what if...you never looked back. What if you really did leave all your fears behind you and pressed on through every circumstance?  What if you showed every single person how much God loves them? What if you realized that God is living inside of you? What if people realized all their fears would disapear by saying one simple prayer? What if...you believed?

What if?
